Web Intelligence Rich client connection issue

Dear All

I am installed BOBJ 4.0 sp2 in Susu Linux 11 and suseccfuly connected CMC through remote client http://servername:8080/BOE/CmcApp and also http://servername:8080/BOE/InfoView after that I installed client tool in windows machine want to connect bobj server through Web Intelligence Rich client 4.0 but unable to connect first I am unable to understand why

Web Intelligence Rich client show Standalone I give server =CMC server name user = administrator and password =xxxxx

and Authentication = Enterprise when I press logon messgae appear

"Logon Failure due to internal errror"

and also file WebIRichClient_ncs.trc show

I have to repeat what I said earlier - you resolved your connection issue, now you have an issue with report refresh .

That should be a new post, because having multiple issues in a single thread will make it difficult for other people to find solutions to their questions...

Thanx for reply my point of view this is not installation issue . some post installation required but Unfortunately I am unable to find

related to Web Intelligence Rick client connection issue it was solved , in bobj installation directory /tomcat there is file named server.xml there is host name defined "localhost" in two places I replaced with bobj server name connection is now ok but

when I login in bobj server and want to use efashion universe when I run query error appear

Hi,

unfortunately, your explanation is almost incomprehensible..

I'm telling you - you have more than 1 problem going on here. You need to work with Support to resolve these

FYI - the efashion in bi4.0 doesn't work 'out of the box'... some setup needs to be finalized first.. From where i'm standing, I can't tell if you have done any ODBC maintenance, installed Middleware and Drivers, created DSN.. have you considered the switch between 32 and 64 bit? do .mdb work on unix ? etc

your original question was about WRC not able to connect to BI4, now you are posting about what looks like a problem refreshing report based on ODBC connection...

Please maintained one problem per post and be more clear on the exact workflow and what is not working.
