Osoft Addin - Excel 2007 Load Behaviour Error -- No BPC Add in available

Hi All,

We are tring to install the BPC Client - Admin and Office, for 7.5 MS version, in our local machine. There were no installation issues. However, when we open Excel (2007) , we could not find the BPC Add-In. The OsoftAddin was available in the Inactive Addins (with location as mscoree.dll and type as com add in). When we opened the disabled items Com Add in, we saw the error message "Load Behaviour: Not Loaded A Run Time error occurred during the loading of the Com Add-in".

Note: Earlier we have installed BPC NW Client in this local machine and were successfully in connecting to BPC Excel. Now we have uninstalled the NW Client completeley and trying to install the BPC MS client in the same machine.

The machine is installed with .Net framework 3.5 SP1. Excel Macro settings are enabled.

Our attempts:

a. We tried changing the Regsitry key value of Load Behaiour to 3 for the Excel Osoft Addin. Then tried to enable the Add in. Then restart Excel. Still the BPC Add in wont get enabled.

b. We uninstalled and then reinstalled BPC client many times but still same issue. We also uninstalled Excel 2007 and reinsalled. The issue continues.

Thanks for your solution.

Regards,

Baskhar

    Hi,

    Got this resolved.

    Steps:

    a. Uninstall BPC MS

    b. Install BPC NW once more.

    c. Do a Clean Uninstall of BPC NW using the Remove option, in the Setup.exe

    d. Install BPC MS
