1- Feature MASEX will control applicability to female employees only see documentation

2-to restrict 2 live births i think you have to either go for user exit where once 2 live birts are maintained in system the 3rd will not be allowed OR take help of Abap consultant for this.

3-rest configure in Maternity node of SPRO

    Salil

    Follow the steps below:-

    1. Set Eligibility for Infotype ->

Spro path: - Time Management->Time Data Recording and Administration->Absences->Special Absence Data->Maternity Protection->Set Eligibility for Infotype

Here you set the MASEX feature

    2. Define which absence types you will use for maternity leave

Spro path:- Time Management->Time Data Recording and Administration->Absences->Special Absence Data->Maternity Protection->Define Absence Types

take care of the screen number here, as for maternity leave you have a special screen (screen number 2003) to be used. ALso here you can define your minimum and maximum duration of leave. Unit also to be counted as calendar days / absence days / payroll days.

    3. Define Types of Birth

Spro path:- Time Management->Time Data Recording and Administration->Absences->Special Absence Data->Maternity Protection-> Define Types of Birth

    4. Define Maternity Protection Periods

Spro path:- Time Management->Time Data Recording and Administration->Absences->Special Absence Data->Maternity Protection->Define Maternity Protection Periods

Here you can define the period when and how you need the absence to be calculated. The table is self explaining and you can fill in whaever conditions you want, like leaves before delivery , after delivery. In this step, you define periods for maternity protection and parental leave. The system uses these periods to calculate absences automatically. You can define different periods according to each personnel subarea grouping for attendance and absence types, and birth types.

You can define an allowance period for parental leave to reflect legal requirements or requirements stipulated by the collective agreement.

You can also define the latest application date (by which the employee must have put in a request for parental leave).

    5. Define Default Absence Types

Spro path:- Time Management->Time Data Recording and Administration->Absences->Special Absence Data->Maternity Protection->Define Default Absence Types

In this step, you define the default absence types for the maternity protection infotype (0080). These can then be selected in the Absence type field under the Possible entries function.

    Thanks & Regards, Swapnil Mishra
