    Hi,

You have added 4 files of 10GB each. Hence a total 40GB has been added by you. Available space was 70GB.

It might have given you a warning while adding mentioning that you might not have enough space in the directory.

Since the space is only 70GB , it may not extend any of the files beyond this space.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

The 30GB for datafile is very big, can you post size of your db?

You can easily set autoextend off for this datafiles.

Why brtools allow you this ? Why not ? May be you can extend your file system tommorow for example, for brspace this is are only warning.

In any case i do not recommend to create 30GB datafiles (this can be doing only if you have necessity for this and very BIG db at least several TB)

    Regards.
