Ask Transport Sequence in SAP

Dear gurus,

I want to ask the transport sequence in tx. STMS_IMPORT.

When I select multiple transport request, what transport request will be the first to be imported?

Will it start from the foremost top, then continue to the last row, or is it based on transport request number, which is from lowest to biggest number?

Please clarify.

Thanks for help.

Regards,

    Lori,

Are you going from Dev to QA or QA to PRD?

If already have gone to QA, then when you do a mass transport into PRD, they are being transported in the correct sequence plus, STMS looks at the "group" of transports as one transport anyway.

    Hello Lori,

I think it will first import foremost top in the selected list of transport requests.

    Thanks,

Siva is right, it will start from the top and work down, just as if you were transporting one by one, same sequence.

    Cheerio

But i notice that sometimes the RC code that turn green/yellow is from the lowest TR number to biggest TR number, not based on sequence.

    Can you clarify?
