GTS Error during Product master data update

Hi All,

I have to do master data sync between ECC and GTS in a very different way...

If export data (ECCN, HTS numbers) are deleted after material creation in ECC this update also required in GTS Product master, since GTS Std programs do only update not deletion. We have created customs program to do this. Product update custom program is giving error in the middleu2026..

Error message...

Internal system error when blocking object /SAPSLL/PR

Message no. /SAPSLL/CORE_BASIS104

Could anyone help me with the issue..

Hi Renu,

That error is quite general; it is issued because the object cannot be locked at that time to enable your updates to take place. Make sure that no-one else is using the Product Master whilst your program is running. And check the locks using Transaction SM12.

You are certainly using GTS in a very non-standard way. It is normal for GTS to be the "master" system for HTS and ECCN classification, not the "slave". But you are right - there is no way to delete such data with the standard programs.
