Programmatically Change Operation Work Center on Save of Production Order

Need a UE/BAPI/BADI/FM that I can use on the save of a production order CO01/CO02 that can change the a given operation's work center.

We've found a number of options to check for requirements or post results but nothing that will actuall affect the SAVE of the operation work center.

Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

There's a user exit on order save that you can use:

    Enhancement when Saving an Order

The following enhancement is available for production orders:

PPCO0001 enhancement when saving the order

This enhancement provides you with information from the production order in table form when you save the order.

The enhancement PPCO0001 contains the following enhancement components:

    Function exit

    EXIT_SAPLCOBT_001 enhancement when saving order

    1. Create the enhancement

To do so, create a new project, or use an existing project.

    2. Activate the project.

Your enehancement only takes effect after you have activated it.

    Further notes

Enhancememnts, as opposed to modifications, are fundamentally independent of releases since they are not made in the SAP original, but in a name space that is reserved for customers.

    • Thank you for the prompt reply Mario.

We attempted to use this UE first, but it turns out that the execution of this UE is post commit.

So we can change all the values in the provided tables that we want but those changes are not saved to the database.

      Any other ideas???
