Hello,
I am currently working on an upgrade from BW 3.5 to 7.3. When I execute the query in 7.3 and attempt to restrict the query on certain values it seems they are listed in order of the technical ID. In 3.5 they were apparently in a random order. The client has noticed this and I would like to put their concerns at ease by confirming this is indeed new functionality of 7.3 and no values should be missing. Can anybody confirm this for me?
Many thanks,
Bridie
Hi Bridie, I was not able to find anything specific within SPA notes about this... Only like (1584793 - THJ Hierarchy is showing in alphabetical order on F4) but it it not your case.
I think the best would be to raise OSS message to SAP and ask to forward it to development. Maybe some SAP developer could share info why thsi was changed.
Additional question? Where do you experience this? In BEx Query Anlyzer, Web reporting (JAVA or ABAP basd)?

OK is it web reporting ... just which one ABAP or JAVA based? You can give it to try in TA RSRT->put your query tech name here and press JAVA web and ABAP web as well.
This will hep you to address it to SAP's OSS as they are both different components of BW being develop by different development teams...
