We are implementing CRM7 Ehp1 and integrating with Genesys. We found the response time to present the phone call to the agent in the webIC is quite different between first phone call and 2nd one.
The first phone call: you login webIC and make yourself available, it always takes more than 10 seconds (2 to 3 rings) to present the phone call in the communication box.
2nd phone call: you finish the first phone call and keep in the same session. It only takes around 5 seconds (just 1 ring) to present the phone call in the communication box.
Do you have same experience? Do you have any idea what the webIC is doing during the 10 seconds for the first phone call? Does it load java scripts in the cache?
BTW, the internet exploer is IE6.
