Migration from 3.x to 4.0

Hi,

I want some help in migration from 3.x to 4.0

We have set up environment and migrated few universes and reports. We also have converted these universe unv to universe unx.

I want to know:

If connection will be migrated or not? If not then what steps I have to take.

We also have single sign on. Will all Windows AD users and their group be migrated or not.

We are also puliing Data from SAP and using single sign on _Win AD.

Do we have to create a connection in SAP for this new BI 4.0 box?

I will appreciate this help.

Hi,

As per your query below are the answers

1.yes it will migrate the universe connections

2.If destination has been configured windows AD then we can migrate the windows AD users. Also the steps for configuring has been changed in 4.0 , you can go through the below article for further reference

3.Definitely you need to create connection on new system
