Workflow launch BSP page

Hello All,

I have a transport workflow defined which is working perfectly fine from R/3. However now I want users to be able to approve/reject and get the same options they have from R/3 from the web portal as well.

I found a standard BSP application which displays SAP inbox and also pulls up the details and actions on it - Package PLM_PDN_WUI contains the SAP stnd BSP application.

However I am observing a very strange thing with this BSP page. For some type of workitems it pulls up the actions available for Approve/Reject but for some workitems it simply gives a message like - "You can only execute the work item from the Business Workplace ". Wondering what could be the difference for this change of behavior.

Not sure, if this is the best approach of making the R/3 functionality for workflow thru web. This was just to reuse SAP standard BSP page.

Please let me know if you think there are other options of making R/3 inbox working same through web without coding WD ABAP, Java apps.

Appreciate all your help.

Regards,

Samta.

    Hello All,

We have implemented the SAP standard transport workflow for automating transports through the landscape. Now we need to enable this through web. Any ideas what could be the best method to accomplish the same.

    Appreciate all inputs please.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Samta.
