work schedule differentiation

Hello Experts

I have a scenario. Help me finding a solution

Suppose there are 10 employees in a department, who works under a same work schedule i.e. same timing, breaks etc.

Normal work schedule mon-fri (sat & sun is considered off).

1 Saturday is considered working day for employees 1-5 and employees from 6-10 are considered OFF for that Saturday and vice versa. (i.e. the Saturday employees 6-10 are on work, other employees 1-5 are OFF)

Any suggestion to tackle with the scenario?

Extend the Period Work Schedule to 2 weeks in duration, with the second week having the Saturday as a working day but the first week without.

Create a second Work Schedule Rule with the start day of the PWS set as 008.

Assign 5 of the employees to the first work schedule rule, and the other 5 to the second one; they will then have alternating weeks with the Saturday as a absence day.

    Regards

You will need 2 Daily Work Schedules (e.g. : WORK and OFF) and either one Periodic Work Schedule spanning 2 weeks (as suggested by Simon) or two PWS each spanning 2 weeks (but a mirror of each other).

    Example of PWS

Week 001 WORK WORK WORK WORK WORK OFF OFF

Week 002 WORK WORK WORK WORK WORK WORK OFF

      Hi,

1.First crate Daily work schedule with breaks assigned.

2.Create 2 Peroid work schedule for same employee grouping for 2 weeks ,one with day off on saturday & 2nd week off on sunday.

3.crate 2 work schedules with same employee grouping & ps grouping & assgin PWS for that WSRule.

4.Then assign first work schedule for 5 employee & for rest of employees assign 2nd WSRule .

5.You can check by generating work schedule

    Hi,

Group your employees in two employee subgroup grouping for WSR and then create two WSR's one with Saturady off for the first week and the other one with off for second week.

Assign the appropriate WSR to ESG grouping for your reuired employee and generate the WSR's.

    Thanks & REgards, Swapnil Mishra

We can do this two in ways

1)Create 2 Period work Schedules with different day offs and create 2 different work schedules and assign relevant PWS to relevant WSRule

2)Create one Period work schedule and create two work schedule and change the Start Point of PWS in WSrule

    Best Regards
