EKLAS field on material master data

I have a material wich has on it master data the field EKLAS filled with a Valuation Class for Sales Order Stock.

What defines if is selected the BKLAS (Valuation Class) or EKLAS (Valuation Class for Sales Order Stock)?

I Also need to understand the effect that having this valuation class will have on matters of inventory.

Can anyone help me?

    Hi,

As per my knowledge, if you want to valuate your account assigned category "E" (Sales Order) order and you want to valuated this differently (other than make-to-stock) you can assign additional (valuation class i.e. EKLAS) in accounting view.

    Hope this helps!
