HR data in ECC-viewed and accessed via external integrated system/program??

Hi everyone,

HR request:

I have a customer (billion dollar customer) which is running SAP ECC. They are with 7 different queries is extracting HR data (new employees, headcounts, salaries, contractors etc etc) from SAP. The data is assembled and structured into one Excel sheet document which they have constructed themselves with macros etc.

The company has decided to within a couple of years Go Live with Business Warehouse and will then use BI reports to view the data smoothly.

However they want to implement a temporary solution so they donu2019t have to do the manual work until the Business Warehouse solution is up and running. They need to more or less be able to access and view this data without performing the extraction and assembly in Excel manually. I believe Click View is one interesting product which can be integrated. But I need to know some more alternatives which can be evaluated and presented to the customer in a Pre Study.

The data is assembled and structured into one Excel sheet document which they have constructed themselves with macros etc. The data presents personal key figures on Local Business Unit level but also on ABB level. Furthermore, sickness info on individual, LBU and ABB level is presented. All users (Antal users???) will filtrate on their division and only view their specific data.

The company has decided to within a couple of years Go Live with Business Warehouse and will then use BI reports to view the data smoothly. I believe the talks regarding BI have gone too far and that we probably cannot persuade them in choosing HANA or something else instead. So letu2019s work on that they are going to implement BW within a couple of years.
