Error when refreshing reports in BI

Hello,

I have installed BI 4 on Linux RHEL5, Oracle 11.2.

I connect to Web BI ,display one of the reports in > Documents> Visual Difference --> Web intelligence Samples

and try to refresh it i have the following error:

Databse Error: (CS) "Unable to bind to Configuration Object" . (IES 10901)

on te other hand when i try to refresh any of the reports in Documents-->Reports Samples --> Financial i got the following error:

The SQL generation parameters file could not be loaded (MS Access 2000, ODBC) . (WIS 00514)

Is it a problem with the configuration of the BO?

sample reports are based on MS Access database, you can't connect to that from Linux.

hello again,

actually i am new Business obiects field, i saw in one tutorial of BO XI 3.2 that an access pack middleware is needed to view the demo Efashion that comes with the BO XI4.

i tried to check if i can install or dowload this pack but i found nothing and i dont know if there is soething also to b done on the client side to view the demo or it is impoossible as we are running BO on Linux?

There is no connectivity from Linux to Access DB ..... you might try to place those Access tables on windows, then edit DB connections in universe to use generic ODBC drivers and install those on your linux machine...

But there is no access pack you can download...
