Types of cost involved in maintenance order is

    1.Internal material cost

    2.external service cost

    3.labour cost.

for settling it can be settled to any cost objects like cost center, internal orders ,assests, wbs etc.

you need to create avalue categories for it and assign a cost element to these value categories inorder you can see the cost,

    Regards

Apart from this for displaying of cost you can configure the following

Plant Maintenance and Customer Service > Maintenance and Service Processing>Basic Settings>Settings for Display of Costs>1)Maintain Value Categories

2)Assign Cost Elements to Value Categories

    Hi Anil,

Adding on to What Mr. Iqbal has said.

When you have completed all the activities on the field or in other words if you have Execute the Order on the field then the Technical Completion(TECO) is done,

Till this time cost is being held in the Maintenance Order only, but after that you do all the Transfer of the cost to the cost collector. that is called the settlement once you have completed all these activities and no more to be done with the maintenance order then you do the Business closure the maintenance order.

    Hope it helps you.

Normally cost elements are used for segregating costs for materials, labor and services etc. You need to define allocation structure for grouping the cost elements for materials, labor and service separately and then you have to assign the allocation structure in settlement profile. During settlement the cost will be settlement as per allocation structure.

      Create Allocation Structure

IMG Menu Plant Maintenance and Customer Service  Maintenance and Service Processing  Basic Settings  General Order Settlement  Maintain Allocation Structures

      Transaction Code SPRO

      Create Settlement Profiles

IMG Menu Plant Maintenance and Customer Service  Maintenance and Service Processing  Basic Settings  General Order Settlement  Maintain Settlement Profile

      Transaction Code SPRO

Assign the settlement profile to the order types through u201CConfigure Order Typesu201D menu.
