User Query on date

Hi,

I have a query from user saying:

Running a labor report and need to know why the dates start each week on a Thursday?

There are multiple reports on labor and all the reports are based on either of 2 multi providers. Both MultiProviders have 2 date fields(Document date and Posting date) coming from the same set of Cubes.

I checked the Multi provider's data and the data isn't restricted to Thrusday.

Can someone pls help how to go ahead with this?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

First off, I would try to find out which date is the user is talking about and what is the corresponding InfoObject in the MultiProvider. If you can get that info and check that IOBJ data in the MP, it should give you an idea.

Second, is the InfoObject 0WEEKDAY used anywhere in the query or in the filters?

    Regards,

    Suhas

    HI,

Check your all prompt, may be some of variables definitely with user exit. So check the CODE for that variable in CMOD whats written there . Surely in CMOD it is written to restricted the value on to Thursday.

    Hope it may help you.

    Hi,

Can you check whether there is any variable value there in your report. check for any custoimer exit varaible.

Then post running the query in Bex see all the value of Bex variable getting populated. This will give you idea which cariable is making the restriction on Thursday..

just see 0CALWEEK is also restrictied in query or not?

    Thanks and regards
