Replication of datasources after transport

Hi all

Once we move the datasources from R/3 Dev to R/3 QA or R/3 Production. do we have to replicate these again in BW QA or BW Production manually .? Or system does it automatically.

if your transport is related to R/3, you have to replicate (datasource) in BW manually !

You should also activate the transfer structures after the replication. Run program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL in BW. You can activate them for a particular datasource or for all datasources of a source system.

Generally many admins run it for the entire source system after every transport of any datasources.
