How to turn off mouseover effect for more-button?

we have the problem that at creating a new sales order a lot of user turn the mouse over the more-button at the positions-block.

this button will open automatically the more-folder and if the users work fast, a lot of times they are clicking at the wrong position.

so, its possible to turn off the automatically open through mouse-over only?

we want that the menu only open after a real click at the more-button.

thanks a lot!

regards - Helmut

Actually there is no 'More' button, it is just coming because of framework as number of visible button is set to some limited number(7) by SAP standard in method IF_BSP_WD_TOOLBAR_CALLBACK~GET_NUMBER_OF_VISIBLE_BUTTONS and other buttons are coming inside it also the mouseover effect is a part of framework which actually uses one javascript file and do the same.

    • Hi Helmut,

You may not be able to directly affect the roll over function without digging out the javascipt which will affect other areas of the Web CI. But by utilising the previous suggestion you can alter the number of visible buttons on the toolbar and hence the position of the 'More' button or even remove it completely.

If you change the nuber of visible buttons in IF_BSP_WD_TOOLBAR_CALLBACK~GET_NUMBER_OF_VISIBLE_BUTTONS to 10 for example, then this will change the look of the button on the toolbar and may be enough for your requirement.

I would suggest experimenting with different numbers here.
