Delete Indicator(Condition type)

Dear Friends,

I have checked the Delete and Value Indicator in condition type(V/06) under tab "Changes can be made". But when I try to delete condition type in Sales order at line item level, system allows me to delete the same inspite of above configuration. My requirement is to not to delete the condition type(select line item at sales order and select conditions tab) in the Sales order.

Could you please tell is there any settings we need to follow.

with regards,

Dayanand

    Hi S Dayananda Murthy,

--Uncheck the Delete option & if you don't want to make any changes select the option B in manual entries & save it

--Raise sales order & check the output

Let me know if your problem is solved

    Regards

    Hi Dayanand,

First check the requirement if the condition needs to be entered manually at any point of time over writing the existing value in the order.

    If yes

    Case-1

In the changes which can be made section of the condition type control data in V/06,

For making manual entries field you need to select C value

    Case-2

Else if the condition needs to be entered manually at any point of time if condition is not picked in the order then you can choose the vale B.

If condition record is maintained and automatic entry is not modifable in this case .

    Case-3

If condition must not be processed manually at any point of time then choose the value D

Please go through the below SAP help

    A: Freely definable

B: The automatic entry has priority. If a condition record exists, the condition cannot be entered manually.

C: The manual entry has priority. When you enter the condition manually, the system does not check whether a condition record exists.

    D: Cannot be processed manually

Also uncheck the delete check box. This will not allow you to delete the condition at any point of time.

Even for the above case-1 you will have two entries for the condition type where of which one will be in not editable (grey mode and manual entry must be in blue colour and active)

Make the condition as mandatory in the pricing.

    Hope this works.
