Extending factory calendar

Hi,

User had a problem. When entering the planning requirement,error came up:

"Date 05.01.2014 comes up after end of factory calendar with ID".

Action steps taken by me:

1. In SE16, Table- T001W, gave me the factory calendar for the relevant plants.

2. In SCAL,I checked the relevant holiday calendar and the valid to year (THOCI-BJAHR) was till 2098.

However, the public holidays listed below; From(THOCD-ABJAHR) & To(THOCD-BISJAHR) was different as in To year was 2006 & 2010. I made no change here.

3. Checked the relevant factory calendar and the validity date was till 2013. I later changed to 2015. No special rules apply.

Saved the change.Clicked on TRANSPORT on SCAL. It gave me the change request number.Released in SE10 , tested in DEV environment with a simple test of creating reqts in MD61, gave the valid to period as 30.12.2015 and allowed me to create it, whereas when i gave the valid to period as 15.01.2016, it gave mean error that the date comes up after end of factory calendar.

We then, moved the transport to Production. But, the user gets the same error as she got before.

When I check in SCAL in production, the factory calendar valid to year is changed from 2013 to 2015.

Can anybody help me resolve this issue as I'm confused what action to do next?

hi,

for this error you need to extend the factory calendar from SCAL.Extend the factory calendar then save it and come to initial screen of factory calendar.go to transport and you can make the request to move.As this is workbench request not customizing request so see it that way in se03.

Hi ,

Factory calender dates should chanage directly in the production syst , for that you need to take the Autherization for the a production (transaction SCAL ) , it will not get transfer throgh transport requiet you have change manually.
