Budget Consistency and Activate Availability in PSM-FM not working

Former Member

We performed a technical upgrade of FI-FM (4.6C) to the PSM-FM (ECC 6.0).

in the previous version we have disabled :Consistency buget an Availability Control for the year 2010. (SPRO Financial Accounting / Funds Management / Budgeting and Availability Control / Define year-dependent parameters). In this way no budget error related to 2010 shows when I execute FR50 to add Budget Amount.

But, in the new version This parametrization does not work, Because when I run FR50, the next errors are issued:

Message no. BQ171

Message no. BQ174

Message no. BQ178

Message no. BQ179

for the year 2010.

In the new version the configuration are the some as in the old version:

Public Sector Management / Funds Management Government / Former Budgeting / Budgeting / Budget Versions / Deactivate Annual Budget Values for Consistency

and

Public Sector Management / Funds Management Government / Former Budgeting / Availability Control / Deactivate / Activate Availability Control.

What do you think is happennig?

Hi,

First of all, please, read this note:

106899 Guideline: Structural change of master data in FM.

With a consistent budget structure, there are some tools to reconstruct budget values.

Please find the related documentation on this link:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_470/helpdata/EN/f0/ca3d72260211d28a430000e829fbbd/frameset.htm

under "Budgeting tools/Batch processing/Totalling up", also "Reconstruct Distributed values" and "Reconstruct budget values".

There you will find information about transactions FM9Q, FM9P and FM9QBUD. After using these reconstruction tools, please consider that FMBV should be also used. Afterwards retest your issue. This should resolve your it.

Best Regards,

Vanessa.
