Hi,
I am trying to do a recording for PA40 transaction - for termination action.
But when I run the LSMW for few employees in Foreground by creating a batch job.
Some how it is unable to find the termination in action in the PA40 transaction.
A window pops up by saying select an infotype.
or cursor field T529T-MNTXT(13) doesn't exist.
Did some one face similar kind of issue?
Thanks,
C
Dear Chaitanya,
you might have used PA40 T.code for recording that is why it is not picking the infotype actions-0000.
PA40 is not suggested for LSMW recording. LSMW will not pickup the infotype if you use PA40 for recording.
please use PA30 for recording, you can perform any action using PA30 also.
While performing LSMW recording for action(any action type) use PA30 for recording and your problem will be solved.

mohammed

Hi chaithanya,
PA40 is not advice able to use if you doing recording.
However If you want to create PERNR for EE that is the only time one should use PA40. Otherwise check your recording once again. there might be problem with recording.
I have Just created PA40 for PERNR (LSMW). However it has worked absolutely fine for me.
May just run action from PA40 for termination.

Jorge: While running LSMW it is unable to scroll, I should have used P, P+.
Anyways after searching through forums and google I found that PA40 is not of much use for LSMW and I created an LSMW through PA30.
Now I am facing a message in infotype 0001
No Batch data exists for MP000100 2010
though I am passing blank value for the following field
P0001-SACHA SACHA Payroll Administrator
And if I save and continue I am facing a message in infotype 0007, though I am passing work schedule rule.
No Batch data exists for MP000700 2000.
Will explore and I will keep you posted. Hopefully the issue will be resolved.
Thanks to Mohammed & Ashish for your response too.
Thanks.
C.
I think the problem might be that when you run the batch input session (clicking "Process" in session overview), the checkbox "Dynpro standard size" is flagged. So the screen layout is generally different from the layout you see when you are recording.
If you uncheck "Dynpro standard size" the problem still remains? I think it won't hurt if you test it since you said you are running few employees in foreground.
