I would lik to open my Z component in main workarea from top navigation bar (similar logic like it is for link Personalization in top right corner of navigation bar that opens Personalization component).

Did anyone tried this?

Help appreciated.

    • I know how to perform navigation from one component in work area to the other component. But in my case link is placed in navigation bar, but new component (navigation performed) must be displayed in working area. So, I'm trigerring event in navigation bar and not in working area.

Just like it is for link "Personalization" displayed in right corner of top navigation bar.

    Hi Robert,

as per my understating , you want to show your component in navigation bar profile under one work group , when user click this line you want to show your component in work area . Every component must contain a link ,so you need to create a logical link to this custom component then attach this link to navigation bar profile work center group .( each link contains a target id , we need to create this target id few steps are there to create this target id ) .

like check the tcode : crm_UI_NBLINKS , and click on define logical links (left side ) there u can check each one has target id .

Reward points if it suitable for your requirement

    Regards
