Proof of Delivery

Dear SD Consultants ,

I have the following issue as I use the proof of delivery ,the system issue the following message

POD quantity may not be negative (please correct difference quantities)

Message no. VL689

Although the quantity difference is less than the delivery quantity

I have noticed also that the system duplicates the quantity difference for example,

If the delivery quantity is 10 TON and the quantity difference is 2 TON,the system calculate the POD quantity as 6 TON so the system calculated the quantity difference as 4 ton although it`s only 2 ton.

I also use batch determination (batch split)

Regards,

Sd Consultant

    Check the following notes:-

    a) Note 674503 - Incorrect error message VL689 with POD for delivery

    b) Note 1434757 - POD records are saved inconsistently after error VL689

    Dear Serry

    I feel it's a logical error.

You can go to VLPOD and change the pod quantity as positive or negative or keep blank, it totally depends on the business process.

I mean if you do over delivery you may require to do negative with number of quantity

If goods found damaged at the time of inspection, delivery then also negative,

if there is under delivery u may require to use positive.

It changes as per business process. (Reason remains important)

Just a thought try it .....
