Hello Gurus ,
I work on an SAP client which hosts several Plants .
I created a Material for a Plant ABCD with accoutning views. and another for plant EFGH with accounting views ,Both are materila type HIBE, same industry sector .
I could see a distinct difference between the fields appearing in both plants for same material type --HIBE
(A)....in Plant ABCD..in acc view i could see GENERAL DATA subscreen and Current valuation subscreen
(B)....in Plant EFGH in acc view I could see 3 tabs Period 12/2011period 11/2011 and period 01/2012 consisting of subscreens --GENERAL VALUATION DATA , PRICE AND VALUES
Please advioce where it is controlled in SPRO.
(for your info--i have tried creating materil type HALB in both plants and the screnn display is like that of (B)

THANKYOU for your useful inputs,
The config type here is specific to Materil type level. (not at Matel type-Plant level) In OMSA the settings are same for both plants.
I have observed one thing in Materil masters, IN ABCD plant i could see Material ledger active indicator for Materil type HIBE , but I could not find the same for EFGH for same materil type. (However as mentioned before I could see for HALB materila type the Material ledger active indicator for bothe plants.
So question is..is there any Materil ledger activation task specific to a material type in a plant in SPRO ? .Looks like this is the node that affects the Accounting view screen for any materil type
