service po short close for project closure

Dear All,

My client has a project which is to be closed but there is committment in service po we have tried to set a final service entry indicator and final invoice still the commitment remains is there any other way that can be closed

From ME22N Please check / tick the Deliv. Compl. check box in the PO item on Delivery Tab.

Goto ME22N, block that PO line item (select PO line item and lock it), balance commitments will be blocked. Then system will allow you to close the project.

Dear consultants,

this is a service PO and delivery complete option is not there in case of service po.

Also, by blocking the line item comittment will block but will be visible in s_alr_87013558 report.

For not showing balance commitments in Report use Set final entry during releasing Service entry sheet.

the problem is setting final entry sheet will only work if they know that they donot need the remaining service but if at the project closure if there is some service remaining and commitment is shown where they donot need that then setting final entry sheet is not possible and they would need to short close the PO. will blocking the PO post previous entries
