copied standard report shows error.

i just copied the standard report RM07DOCS TO YRM07DOCS

AND EXECUTED.

IT SAYS LAYOUT /GR VKP DOES NOT EXIST FOR YRM07DOCS.

and if i execute without giving any layout , it shows only few fields of output

PLEASE tell ME TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM to get the layout , and complete output..

Hi,

How did you copy your report? Check if there are includes in program RM07DOCS and it is copied in you Z report.

Also, check if your selection is made thru Screen-painter?

I am sorry , i didnt get you.

i copied the program i.e., givem prog name in se38 --> selected copy icon from application tool bar.

given custom name ---> enter ---> named includes rm07alvi as yrm07alvi , rm07docs_control as yrm07docs_control , rm07docs_generated as yrm07docs_generated. and activated all the custom programs now executed the two programs in two sessions .

i observed in selection screen of both , i found in standard layout field input where as in custom layout input field does not have any input.

how to get that layout input . i didnt fing anything in the initialization.

the standard RM07DOCS report has an entry in table VARI, your new report not.

i copied the standard program , and also observed that view v_mmim_rep_cust so i copied this view to yv_mmim_rep_cust and table mmim_rep_cust to ymmim_rep_cust and mmim_rep_print to ymmim_rep_print.in the program i aso copied the code in the enhancements also. now the program if executed gets dump . previously before copying enhancements gets output with little fields.

for the copied report , in selection screen i am getting an additional field " validation " with input = '*' , this field is not there in standard report.

how to solve the issue.
