Filter at Multiprovider level

Hi,

can we create Filter condition at multiprovider level? i have a requirement of displaying data of a particular fiscal year from multiprovider to BO explorer can i restrict the values of Fiscal year dimension at multiprovider level and not at query level so that , if an information space is created in BO Explorer based on multiprovider the same restriction is applied.

Have you tried "Personalization" tab in InfoSpace definition? -VR

Thanks for the reply . is there a way to filter / restrict data at multiprovider level ( either in RSDDTPS t-code or in BEX Query designer) . Iam indexing and activating multiprovider as Partprovider

Swetha,

You can't put a filter to "data to be indexed in BWA", all of the cube data has to be indexed.

If you want you can create a query with the filters you wanted, and index the query results as snapshot.

You can run the query after each load in the process chain, to keep the snapshots up-to-date
