Add new search criteria parameters

Hi,

I have a task to add 2 new search parameters to GC_ADVANCE_WFI component, AdvanceWFISearchView. Normaly I would append query structure in order to add new parameter to the screen, but in this particular case the structure CRMT_CT_INBOX_WF_DYN_SEARCH can not be enhanced.

So the question would be, how to proceed when querry can not be enhanced by append structure

    Thanks Kavindra,

What object table and model table are you talking about (item c)

You can create a new query with the needed structure when the append structure does not works. This is a possible solution in my mind.

    • Do the following

      a) create the structure which you want to have as query input structure.

      b) define a query output structure

      c) Modify the object table and model table with the new query search and result objects. ( Look for existing objects in the tables and do the same).

      d) check whether your objects are appearing in the genil_model_browser.

      e) Go to the main Genil Class & change the coding in this IF_GENIL_APPL_INTLAYGET_QUERY_RESULT and possibly in IF_GENIL_APPL_INTLAYGET_OBJECTS.

      f) Once you have done that check your query in genil_bol_browser.

Your coding will be specific to your objects hence I can't help there.

      Regards
