Dear Experts,

Currently we have an SolMan 7.1 system in our landscape which has been recently installed. I need to configure EWA & MOPz. I've read in the Note 1541013 that some of the tcodes are not there in SolMan 7.1.

Kindly guide me on how to setup MOPz & EWA on SolMan 7.1.

Thanks & Regards,

Gangadhar Ambati.

Hi Prakhar,

I've tried solman_workcenter tcode in both 000 and Prod client of Solman system. It says "You are not assigned to a work center ".

Kindly let me know if i need to do any other configuration for Work Center.

Thanks & Regards,

Gangadhar Ambati.

Gangadhar Login with Solman_admin & try to run the tcode solman_workcenter..You will get all the workcenters of Solution Manager 7.1 along with "Administrative Workcenter tab" & "Change Management workcenter tab"...

Hi

you need to assign the below role

SAP_SMWORK_BASIC

inorder to get any workcenter tab further you can asssign other workcenter roles like

SAP_SMWORK_BASIC_BPO Work Center: Basic Authorization for Business Process Operations

SAP_SMWORK_BASIC_CHANGE_MAN Work Center: Basic Authorization for Change Management

SAP_SMWORK_BASIC_SMADMIN Work Center: Basic Authorization for Solution Manager Administration

SAP_SMWORK_BASIC_SYSMON Work Center: Basic Authorization Objects for System Monitoring

SAP_SMWORK_BASIC_TECHADMIN Work Center: Basic Authorization Objects for Technical Administration

SAP_SMWORK_BASIC_TECHMON Work Center: Basic Authorization Objects for Technical Monitoring

SAP_SMWORK_CONFIG Work Center: Solution Manager Configuration

etc

Rest you can check in Security guide on Service markeplace.

hope it helps

I personally do not like to Work Center screens to configure EWAs and MOPZ. Tcode SOLUTION_MANAGER is not available in Solman 7.1.

But, If you are used to the old setup in SOLUTION_MANAGER, you can still get to it via the following ABAP Program.

1.) Tcoe SE 38

2.) Execute RDSMOP_MAIN.

This will take you to the old familiar screen (SOLUTION_MANAGER) in Solman 7.1

Hello,

I would recommend you accustomize yourself to Workcenters.

While RDSMOP_MAIN is still a report on the system that can be executed, you would want to be cautious using it as it has been removed from 7.1 and issues arising from using it may not be supported. So in the long run it makes more sense to get used to the workcenter format.

There are lots of RKT 's available on this case

https://websmp201.sap-ag.de/rkt-solman -> solman 7.1 -> Set Up and Operations

Thanks,
