Change in House bank currency

Dear All,

If I change the House Bank Currency, do I also have to change the currency in the GL account too or it can remain the local currency?

Thanx

Rosalyn

Better to change it and have the balance in the same currency as the account.

even better actually to create new entry in FI12 and assign new account.

Ideally House Bank currency and GL account currency should be same to aviod the postings of other currency transactions.

If you keep local currency to your GL account, it'll allow all currency transactions.
