Copying Priority from SLFN in Satellite system to SDCR in Solman

Hi Guru,

We want set our priority in the service desk message and then create a change request from the service desk message. When the change request message is created, the priority defaults to 4. How can we set the change request message to copy the priority from the service desk message.

Need your help ASAP

Hi

Goto spro

and search for Define Mapping Rules for Copy Control

under Copying Control for Transaction Types under change request management

now choose SLFN source SDCR trans type and check the column for priority it should be selected here.

Thanks for your answer, It helped partially. I am also looking for a functionality:

- When i create a Support message in Satellite system with any piority(Low, Medium, High, Very High). I should appear with the priority value as 4. Incident in Solution manager. How to configure that.

Hi Prabhakar,

Thanks for the note....but it dosent help.

If i delete the Priorities as in the note and keep only one as default.....i may not able to use another priorities for preceeding activities. I want all the priorities but as i open the ticket i should only see 4:Incident as default value in priority field no matter where it is created and with which priority it is created in satellite system. Then i want to classify according to future requirement and can change the prioroties.
