How to turn back a kanban status ?

Hello !

I have a Kanban sequence with these status :

EMPTY --> PROCESS --> IN TRANSIT --> FULL

If, for any reason, I change a kanban from status PROCESS to IN TRANSIT incorrectly, how can I turn back the status to PROCESS ?

SAP always returns an error "The mandatory status FULL cannot be ignored" !
