Year of Birth field not populated with correct year

Dear All,

When we creat infotype 0002 and typing the ID number (PERID), the birthdate (GBDAT) is automatically filled.

on successful creation of record "GBJHR - Year of birth" field also gets filled with correct year mentioned in GBDAT - Date of Birth.

We are facing problem with this field as it is not getting filled for several employees for whome PA0002-GBDAT is not equal to PA0002-BEGDA

Can anyone help in this case?

as per SAP standard the begin date of IT0002 (BEGDA) is nothing but EE DOB.

so please maintain the IT0002 records with the same and check,

Hi Cheera,

Thank you for the response.

I did the same and it worked...

Also, i did change the PA0002- BEGDA equal to PA0000-BEGDA then also it is working.

Is there any way to find out why the GBJHR field has not populated with the correct year?

This could then help avoiding similar issues which could arise in future.

What exactly Is populating in the field GBJHR currently? I mean the YEAR...

Hi,

for example -

If PA0002- GBDAT = 20.02.1980 then PA0002- GBDAT = 1980.

Right now what has happened is that if PA0002- GBDAT = 20.02.1980 then PA0002- GBDAT = blank.

Check the settings for IT2 in V_T582A.
