PCUI changes to standard BSP

Hi,

I need to create a new tab in the Accounts BSP in PCUI -this is clear. I then need to call a URL to a BSP page in a different system. How to go from creating the tab in the pcui via table entries to be able to add a call to the URL?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

-Lucia

Got this resolved. In the 'READ' method of the model access class linked to the structure call 'READ_HTML' method and assign URL. (The field in the new tab was type 'HTML')

Can you explain this in more detail? I have a like issue. I am trying to call a BSP from a button on the toolbar. I am using Appl set: COMM_BUPA, structure CRMT_BSP_SEAREQ_ACCOUNT which is linked to CL_BSP_ACC_ACCMOD. I do not see a method READ_HTML. What class has it? Can you send code of your call? Any recommendations? Please email me if you have any info.

      Thanks!

    Hi Brant,

    you have to define the method read_html with the parameter IV_LOCK (ABAP_BOOL), IT_OBJECT_KEY (CRMT_BSP_OBJECTKEY_TAB), IV_SCREEN_STRUCTURE_NAME (CRMT_BSP_SCRSTRUCNAME), ET_SCREEN_STRUCTURE (TABLE) and ET_FIELD_ATTRIBUTE (CRMT_BSP_FIELDATTRIB_TAB).

    method READ_HTML .

    DATA: ls_result TYPE ZAV_IOBJ_RESEARCH_HTML.

    CONCATENATE 'http://www.invalid.de' INTO ls_result-url.

    APPEND ls_result TO et_screen_structure.

    endmethod.

then call the read_html method in the read method.

    ZAV_IOBJ_RESEARCH_HTML:

    OBJECT_KEY TYPE CRMT_BSP_OBJECTKEY

    URL TYPE SWL_URL

    HTML_TABLE TYPE CRMT_BSP_HTML_TAB

    bye
