WebDynpro System Alias!!

I've created a simple WebDynPro Application and deployed.

I can preview it from NDS and as an Iview in EP 6.0..Works fine

But when embedded onto a page and run the preview it gives the following error:

Portal RunTime Error

Iview:N/A

Component Name:N/A

Unable to lookup system 'MyWDLaptop'.Please check the system object and the alias.

MyWDLaptop is the system i created while integrating the WebDynpro application(itz the part of creation of a new template)in EP 6.0

I guess the problem is with the System creation.

How can i integrate a webdynpro application in EP?

I read the pdf found on sdn. Can anybody tell me If i have a application deployed already onto EP, how cud i create a system and use the application as a webdynpro iview?

First you have to define the system. Once you have the system defined create Alias. You should assign the alias to the WebDynpro not system definition.

After you create alias, you can test and make sure it is working.

You can do this in many ways.

System Administration --> Support --> SAP Application --> SAP Transaction. Give your alias here. If it works, you are al set to go.

Please let me know for any problems.
