how to get transpotables from BO Universe and webi list

hello experts,

i am facinf some problem dnt knw hw big it is....

my development team has created tool and deployed it on one system now they want to deploy it on the another system for testing perpose

they told me tht they will provide me with the BO universe and webi list and they asked me to get transportables from data provided to me

i thnk i will get something from cmc bt i dnt knw hoe it works.

now i hav two questions

1) how to get the transportable from the BO universe and webi list

2) how to use the cmc cn i get some detailed guide for the same

kindly help as ealliest possible.........\

    Hi,

    I presume you mean "I want to transport some developed reporting-content from DEV to TEST" ?

    it depends which version you are on.

    in xi3.1 - you use Import Wizard (IW)

    in bi4.0 - you use LifeCycleManager (LCM)

      Yes from one env to another env we have LCM method in XI R3.Just Log in to LCM and Select the webi reports, there is option called Dependent Objects we need to select that option to select the Universes and Universe connections.Then select the promote option.
