Issue Creating Grants Management Plan Budget using Ledger 90

HI All,

Please I keep getting the following error while trying to create a budget plan for my grants. Any prompt help I will get to resolve this will be very much appreciated. The error reads.

Some setting indicator prevents you from posting into ledger 90

Message no. GRANTMGMT520

Diagnosis

When you assign ledger 90 to company code 1000, two settings are very important:

Blocking indicator

If the value is '0', the ledger is blocked for posting. Otherwise posting is possible (value '1'). The current value is .

Write line items

If this is set, you can post line items into the ledger, otherwise you cannot. The current value is .

System Response

One of the above settings has not been made correctly. You cannot post.

Procedure

Correct the values in Maintain Ledgers

    Hi,

I believe the answer is in the long text of the error message.

Did you check your customizing settings for the 2 settings below?

    Blocking indicator

If the value is '0', the ledger is blocked for posting. Otherwise posting is possible (value '1'). The current value is .

    Write line items

If this is set, you can post line items into the ledger, otherwise you cannot. The current value is .

Since the current value does not appear in the error message it seems to be that both settings has not been made correctly and the error message is issued.

    Best Regards,

    Vanessa.
