Cannot hide tray for iviews java webdynpro ess applications

Hi Experts,

We're using the "old" java webdynpro applications for absences and personal data for ess (no ehp installed so far). Homepage framework is used too. After changing the hide tray property of the corresponding iview and page, the tray is still being shown.

Changing the hide tray property for the xss menu java webdynpro page works though.

Do you have any ideas why? The installation of the portal was done in september 2011.

Thanks!
