Database table for material determination records

Hi,

In which table are the condition records of material determination stored?

For example, pricing records can be viewed using tables KONP and KONH.

CMIR records can be viewed via KNMT.

Likewise, what is the table for material determination records?

In KONDD, I could find only half part of the record. It gives me the "condition record number" & the proposed material, but no option for the 'entered material'.

Is there any other table where I should put the "condition record number" obtained via KONDD to view the corresponding 'entered material' key?

Another related query is how to find underlying database tables when you get a structure name after pressing F1 on a field?

I ask this because I tried using F1 on a record displayed via VB13, but it gave me a structure.

You will need to review the table assigned in the access sequence of your condition type in config. For example if you are using condition type A001, this condition type uses access sequence A001; within access sequence A001 table '1' is leveraged for material entered. This means the physical data will be in table KOTD001 which links to KOTDD by KNUMH. The last 3 numbers of KOTD### represent the table in your access sequence.

Thanks Matthew. That was very helpful. I got the solution to my "material determination" specific problem with your explanation.

My general doubt still remains... how to find a database table when the F1 help gives a structure name. Is there any trick or tip to do it?

One option is to go into transaction se11, click on view and enter the view. After display, click on table/join conditions tab. This should id tables in view.
