    Hi Schmed,

Just save it as an excel document by clicking save icon on left top.Of course then create shortcut as you normally do in Windows(drag drop with right click >create shortcut here)If you want to have current values every time you open it, then go to workbook settings > general-->update workbook while opening.Do not forget that any change on workbook on user's desktop will not affect the workbook in BW system.

    Regards,

    Sunny

      Hi Debbie,

Yes your explanations are NOW clear (NOT before) because I NOW see much more things than your first and second post .I even did not understand what you meant by "But I cannot find the setting for Auto-Update in Excel 2010" I thought that you wanted to update stg about excel 2010 not about BW, that's why I said google it.

What I forgot to say is logging into BW first just by openning analyzer and connecting to the system and then openning the workbook and refreshing.Yes I forgot to say it.This is the only way.Your users HAVE to login to system of course.

Check this : No BEx add on in the excel version

      And here see Rajdeep's post:

      Regards,

      Sunny
