Crystal Reports 2008 parameter issue

I have a crystal reports2008 with dynamic and static parameters. This report also has subreport.

For the dynamic parameters. I created business views and scheduled them for everyday. So that the dynamic parameters window can show up fast.

After I deployed the report to the crystal 2008 server. When I click view in the infoview it takes 30secs to load the parameter page for the firs time. But subsequent loading time of the parameters are 3secs.

Can anyone tell me what's the reason it takes 30secs to load the parameter for the first time and 3secs later.

Also please let me know if there is a way to fix this issue on the server to make the parameter window takes same time to show up everytime.

checking sql code if using it helps to improve speeds from 30 seconds down to nothing almost but usually when pulling more then 2000-3000 records of things performacne slows down or doing lots of calculations in sql or the program.

It takes 30secs to load the parameter for the first time. After that when I view the report again it takes only 3secs or less.

your not doing lots of calculations or complex calculations in your report are you?

The report has no comlpex formulaes. It has a subreport.

well that would cause a little bit of delay if the subreport has calculations or is pulling more then 3000 records at a time (it might be 5000 records but i cant seem to find that information when i need it).
