Dear all,
We are currently testing SAPGUI 7.20 Patch7 along with BEX3.5 Patch6.
Users are not able to get into BEX3.5 tool with RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE error.
After they provide their credentials for the SAP system BEX clocks for 5 minutes and creates below dump in the backend SAP system.
CALL_FUNCTION_OPEN_ERROR saying "Protocol error when communicating with SAPGUI"
The SAPGUI installation check and the BEX checks returned no errors.
Below notes and few SDN blogs provide the exact problem description but the solution has not worked/aplicable for us.

Please let me know if you have had similar issue with BEX 3.5 tool.
