T Code mb1a error

Hi Experts,

i am facing a problem in T Code mb1a,

i have enter item categories L & R at the time of BOM creation

Message no. M7026

Diagnosis

An error has occurred during conversion of the quantity into the various units of measure ( stockkeeping unit/alternative units).

System Response

The system cannot post the document.

Procedure

Contact your system administrator.

Hi Rahul,

The components of BOM unit of measure is not the same, while you do the goods issue.Better maintain the base unit of measure as the standard one & set alternative unit of measure in additional data in material master.

In work scheduling tab maintain unit of issue as alternative unit of measure (same unit as per goods issue UOM)

Dear Rahul,

Check for what unit of measure the components are posted for the goods movements,now cross check for each component in

the additional data in MM03 for each component for the unit of measure tab for the combination of base unit of measure and

alternative unit of measure.
