ASN issue

Hi,

I have scenario where, Supplier has sent ASN from his legacy system and it is not received in SAP. When I tried to find the issue, I came to know that a batch job has not run. Now the job has started running. My question is: Can the supplier resend the ASN to SAP or the existing ASN that got stuck will come in SAP? Please suggest, Do the supplier has option to resend the ASN or not.

Quick reply will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Prashanth

    Hi,

Though he managed to send the ASN, not started the job, hence can send the same ASN after starting the back ground job. Can resend the ASN with respective to another back ground job not with same back ground job. Thanking you.

Sine the job has already started, it will pick up the old ASN will be received in SAP If he tries to send again it will be received in the next as the job when scheduled.

    Hello,

If Job fails then ASN will not reach the SAP, before start of fresh job run, suppose if you were rerun the previous Job then Same ASN will get update your Purchase order, or suppose before rerun of previous Job , if suppose system schedule fresh job then PO will update with new ASN.

If you get Two ASN for same PO, then delete any one of them.

Hi, this depends on the setup on supplier side. How is the ASN created? Is it based on a outbound delivery on his side?

However if the ASN message on is side is created but not sent out due to a batch job not running it will be sent now with the BJ.

If not, then he may need to recreate his output from the outbound delviery to create a new ASN which would then be sent to you.

    BR,
