Hi all,
We are maintaining the MRP type X0 i.e External Planning for Finished food material and it is Ice cream. As i dont know much about External Planning, Soo plz tell me about External planning for finished material like Ice cream.

Hi,
The MRP Type X0 indicates that materials will be planned by MRP and BOM explosion is triggered for existing planned orders. However, no MRP elements, like planned orders, should be created, changed (quantity or basic dates) or deleted.
MRP type - X0 is used to represent that the planning for the Material is carried out in another system. It can be a connected system like SCM APO, where the BOM explosion happens through the masterdata in that system. This is a standard MRP type relevant for products being planned in an external system.
