Is there a Max Number of records that can be in BDC?

Does anyone know if there are a max number of records that can be retained in BDC?

Example: we have feeders that come in every day for thousands of AP entries. Due to an immediate filing for bankruptcy, until all new vendors/programming can be in place the plan is to have inbound feeders go to BDC so they can be analyzed on how they should be posted. A concern I have is if we will run into issues if there are 40K BDC errors will the system handle it. We have one feeder that is can be thousands of entries a day. They may decide to handle that one differently, but all the BDCs will have to be cleared by an army manually.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
