Allow Post Goods Issue of Quality Inspection Stock Prior to Usage Decision

I am looking for the configuration that would allow the warehouse to pick and PGI stock that is in quality inspection stock and still has an open inspection lot. We are implementing a process to ship product to our warehouses while it is still on incubation hold.

Standard SAP does not allow goods issue of QI or S (blocked inv.) this is intentional and cannot be changed w/config (when an open inspection lot exists). If your material is managed in batches I would recomend using the batch status restricted vs not restricted rather then attempting to ship QI stock. If you disposition the inspection lot prior to shipping to remove the Q status you can still maintain the settings (config) to allow PGI of restricted batch codes to select destinations and still stop the material from shipping to other select locations while the batch code is in restricted status. We use that same process (batch code status) to allow shipping to our warehouses but our config prevents shipping to our customers until the batch code is unrestricted. It works very well
