Transfer Documents from one project to another

Dear all,

Very basic question : I want to copy documents stored in a solman project to another.

I know that there is a very simple way of doing that but impossible to retrieve.

Could you give me the procedure ?

Many thanks for this so quick response.

In fact, I am sorry, my first question was not clear enough.

I am looking for a solution do perform mass copy.

To be more precise :

In our SAP solution, we are managing all our documents centrally in one Solman project.

For big enhancement (new functionnalities or deployement in a new subs) we are opening new project to manage our documents separately.

Once the project is finished, I want to copy back the documents in our central project.

We could have a lot of documents so I am looking for a mass copy.Ideally by selecting documents to be copied.

Hi

to do mass copy of documents you can use transaction

SA_MIGRATION to upload ValueSAP toolset documents into solution manager

you can use this as a base and customize it as per requirement

I just want to copy some documents from one project to another but in the same Sloman System (I don't need to manage transports).

Hi

When you press the add document or "+" button in solar01/solar02 under project documentation

the pop up will come in which select below

"COPY OF A SOLUTION MANAGER DOCUMENT"

this will open the find document pop up and you can search for the source document

select and it will create a copy for you

Yes its simple only

I am assuming you have the transport route bet these 2 solman systems

now goto solar_project_admin tcode choose your project and then goto sap menu create Transport

select the documents checkbox.

now you can move this TR with all the documents to other solman system
